The Womxn I Have Met

"The Womxn I Have Met" is a commemoration of the connections and bonds forged within the trans community. This project celebrates the intimacy and sense of family that emerge when individuals, despite their unfamiliarity, find solace in shared identity and understanding.

In many parts of the world, particularly in countries where
homosexuality is illegal, trans people often live in isolation. Yet,
in discovering others like themselves, the feeling of otherness begins
to blur. This project captures the hope and togetherness that arise
against all odds, documenting moments of intimacy, connection, and the joy of finding each other in the most unlikely spaces.

"The Womxn I Have Met"

highlights the enduring presence and resilience of Black trans people.

The project showcases the diverse ways of being Trans, Black and
present in the world. This project is not just a visual narrative but a testament to the unwavering spirit of Black Trans individuals who have always existed among us, challenging societal norms and affirming their rightful place in the tapestry of humanity.
